In 2016, Nate and Brittany Bruns and their three kids became what they jokingly call “the least likely missionaries” when they moved to Potsdam, Germany. Missions had never been part of their family’s plan, but after a sudden corporate downsize and a season of wilderness wandering, God began reshaping everything they thought they knew about calling, purpose, and provision.
Their years in Europe shaped how they see the gospel lived out in everyday life. They discovered that transformation happens through compassion, intentionality, listening like a learner, and seeing all people created in the image of God.
In 2023, they returned to the U.S., carrying with them all the lessons learned from years of life and ministry in Europe to continue that same work—here at home, among the growing post-Christian population. Their current ministry focuses on engaging both the Church and those who have become disillusioned by it, creating space for people to experience Jesus through authentic connection and belonging.
They describe their mission this way:
“We share the gospel in post-Christian spaces and teach followers of Jesus to do the same.”
